Single-Shaft Shredder Blades
Single-shaft shredder blades are replaceable cutting tools mounted on the rotor and, depending on the machine design, at the fixed counter-knife or stator position. As the rotor turns, the moving knives draw the feedstock into the cutting chamber and shear it against the stationary knives, while a screen retains oversized material until the required discharge size is reached.
Common configurations include square reversible rotor knives, concave cutters, pointed or crown-style inserts, step knives, flat knives, counter knives and scraper knives.
We supply blades manufactured to precise specifications, with particular attention to edge geometry, dimensional accuracy, hole and thread positioning, thickness and flatness. These details are essential for correct seating in the rotor pocket or knife holder and directly influence cutting clearance, load distribution, replacement efficiency and operational stability.
Depending on the application, steel grade, hardness and heat treatment can be selected to match the feedstock and operating conditions, achieving the right balance between wear resistance, impact toughness, chipping resistance and edge retention.
Replacement & Custom Solutions
Rather than offering only standard catalogue parts, we work with specialized manufacturing partners to supply replacement and custom-made single-shaft shredder knives based on approved drawings, physical samples, part numbers, machine models or confirmed dimensions.
Technical specifications and inspection requirements can be defined before production, helping ensure consistent quality and repeatability across future orders.
We support recycling plants, equipment operators, service companies, distributors and machine builders with solutions ranging from scheduled replacement programs and recurring supply to individual custom requirements.
Your machine. Your material. The right cutting solution.

Engineered for Your Application
Every shredding application is different. That is why we supply single-shaft shredder blades in a range of proven materials, including D2 / DIN 1.2379, DC53, selected high-speed steels, tungsten carbide and other tool steel grades.
The right blade specification depends on more than steel grade alone. Feed material, contamination, impact loads, operating conditions and machine configuration all influence blade performance and service life. Together with our manufacturing partners, we can adapt material selection, hardness and heat treatment to meet the requirements of your application.
Existing blade wear can also tell an important story. Rounded edges, premature chipping, cracks or uneven wear can provide useful indications of how the blade is performing and where improvements may be possible.
Send us your machine model, blade drawing or dimensions, processed material and photos of your current blades. We will review the application and help identify a suitable replacement solution.
Better blade selection. Longer service life. More reliable shredding.
